Road closures planned for Spey Bay and Deskford

TWO road closures are planned for the Spey Bay and Deskford areas this coming week.

Anzac Day commemorations on Tuesday, April 25 will see B9014 Bogmoor Road closed at Dallachy Strike Wing Memorial 10.45am until 11:15am.

A diversion is in place via B9014-U9E-C16E-U8E-U10E.

The C11L road between Deskford and Drybridge is due to close on Wednesday, April 26 between Slate Haugh and Back Burn to allow for the replacement of a damaged pole. Drivers should follow the diversion route C11L-A98-C44L-C11L.

In Findochty, the road at the harbour between the junctions with Commercial Street and Main Street remains closed due to ongoing road structure repairs and resurfacing. The road is expected to reopen by the end of May.

Drivers are advised to use Commercial Street to circumvent the closure.

There will a prohibition of waiting in effect on one side of the road between numbers 25-35 East Church Street, Buckie from Thursday, April 27 to Wednesday, May 3 due to works being undertaken by Scottish Water.

Three sets of roadworks, all by Openreach, are scheduled for the B9014 Bogmoor Road from the Spey Bay roundabout on the A96 to Spey Bay. These are expected to begin between Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday, May 3 and last for up to nine days.
