THE lead up to the jubilee holiday weekend was to prove a very quiet one at Buckie Harbour.
Just three vessels – Emerald Dawn, Our May and Lily Oak VI – landed their catches at the harbour, totalling 27 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and 44 bags of clams.
A single cargo boat moored at Buckie during last week, the Bahamas-registered MV Swedica Hav. She imported approximately 1627 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on June 3, leaving Buckie Harbour the following day.
