Proud moment as Buckie BBs receive Queen's and President's Badges

THERE was a proud moment recently for over 20 lads from 1st Buckie Company Boys' Brigade when they received their Queen's or President's Badges.

A total of 24 boys made their way to the Seafield Arms Hotel in Cullen to receive their hard-earned awards. Doing the honours was H Murray Campbell OBE former member of the Lossiemouth Boys’ Brigade and Moray Battalion President.

Well-known in the local area, Mr Campbell was with the Royal National Mission Deep Sea Fishermen and latterly was appointed a locum minister for the Church of Scotland.

A total of 13 boys were presented with their President’s Badge: Jai Clark, Murray Goodall, Haydn Green; Sandy Hutchison, Robbie Lawson, Zach Mitchell, Jody Murray, Stuart Randall, Max Robertson, Mason Simpson, Joe Sutherland, Luca Sutherland and Lucas Wood.

All of them are working to achieve their Queen's Badge.

In all, 11 boys were awarded the Queen’s Badge: Kallum Aitchison, Logan Boyfield, Brodie Buchan, James Devlin, Jude Ewen, Lucus Farquhar, Aidan Milne, Sam Murray, Roy Taylor, Alex Thompson and Finlay Wood.
