Police appeal after Buckie motorbike theft from circus

POLICE in Buckie are appealing for information after the theft of a motorcycle in the town.

The Honda CRF motorcycle was stolen from Linzee Gordon Park on High Street, Buckie overnight between Thursday, 8 June and Friday, 9 June.

It is believed that the motorbike was taken from the Big Kid Circus which had been performing at the park earlier that evening

The whereabouts of the vehicle remain unknown.

Constable Chris Mackinnon said: “The motorcycle has distinctive markings and is an integral part of a circus act visiting Buckie.

“This theft will have a significant impact on the circus and subsequent performances.

“I would appeal to anyone who has information about this theft to contact Police Scotland quoting incident number 1127 of June 9.”

In a social media post related to the incident, Big Kid Circus stated that they would not be able to perform their motorbike act unless the vehicle was returned.
