THE start of the new term saw primary schools across Moray welcome a host of new pupils to P1.

It was time for kids up and down the region to put on that new uniform, shine those shoes, grab that school bag and begin their journey in education.

Primary schools in the Buckie area were among those welcoming the fresh faces swelling the P1 ranks.
