Peter Fair has not been seen since the summer of 2019, but this year will see the pandemic blues banished when the event, run by Horne's Pleasure Fairs, heads back to its usual field at Rathven.

The gates are set to open on Wednesday, July 27 at 6.30pm, the evening running until 10pm. The following two days will see the festivities get under way at 1.30pm, also finishing at 10pm, with a large crowd expected for the traditionally busy Friday evening.

Horne's are looking to provide something for all the family.

There will be the usual selection of rides stretching from the thrilling and stomach churning to the more sedate.

Also, there will be a selection of rides for the younger visitors to the fair.

No fair would be complete with the usual stalls, where prizes of all sorts can be won, and a variety of games, too.

For the peckish, there will be a choice of food stalls on hand.
