Meet the new boss, Pet of the Week Lola.

LOLA the tabby cat is looking for her forever home.

She is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

This lady is a fiercely independent feline who knows she is the queen. She doesn't appreciate anyone telling her what to do and feels everyone lives to serve her.

Lola does appreciate some strokes and head scratches, but isn't shy to let you know when she's had enough. Due to her temperament she would be best suited to an adult-only home.

She firmly believes that she should be the only animal in anyone's life, so the Society would be looking to give her this in her new home. Lola is happiest when she has access to the outside and is allowed to do exactly as she pleases.

If you can give Lola her new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/14545-lola
