A NEW project to help young people with their numeracy skills has been launched.

Multiply Moray, run by Lead Scotland, is for young people aged 19-24 and who have a disability or people who would like to overcome numeracy anxiety, achieve an SQF Numeracy qualification or an Adult Achievement Award.

The project offers a tailored approach using one-to-one support in community venues, at home or

online working towards each individual's goals. Moray Multiply will also organise interactive workshops, drop-ins and fun activities in small groups at various locations across the region.

Lead Scotland offer learners support with: Core skills (literacy, numeracy, communication); Digital skills and cyber safety; Accredited learning at SCQF levels 2-6 including Thinking Digitally, Adult Achievement Awards and Community Action and Leadership Awards; Progression towards positive destinations including volunteering and employment.

Lead Scotland's Supporting People Connecting, Communities Project will continue to provide support for learners who are 16 + and are resident in Moray and are disabled, with Core Skills up to SCQF Level 6, Digital Skills, and non-accredited learning.
