Moray CAB unveil new cost of living adviser

PEOPLE in Moray struggling with the cost of living crisis now have a new source of support and advice.

Moray Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB) have unveiled a designated Empower Project Adviser within the bureau in Elgin working Monday to Friday to help people of all ages in the region with benefit checks, budgeting, utility issues, simple debt, form filling and more.

The adviser can also help with issues such as applying for benefits and grants as well as income maximisation.

This service is free, confidential, impartial and independent.

Additional online financial support tools are available at www.moneymap.scot

Moray CAB offer free advice on a range of areas, not just cost of living problems, including housing, work, health and family.

In addition to their main Elgin office at 6 Moss Street Moray CAB offer outreach services at Buckie, Keith, Forres, Dufftown and Tomintoul.
