MORAY Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB) are on the lookout for new volunteers to help out at their Elgin office.

These posts require between three and six hours a week and would suit those who are at ease dealing with people, are computer literate and are passionate about supporting the community.

The charity offer free and confidential advice to people on a wide range of subjects. However, this is solely dependent on their dedicated team of volunteers.

The advice they provide can help people turn their lives around when there seems no way out of the problems or issues they are experiencing.

Among the main areas covered by Moray CAB are: Benefits; Housing; Work; Debt and money; Health; Family, Consumer issues; Law and courts; Immigration.

Every year Moray CAB works with around 3000 clients and helps resolve some 8200 issues.

In addition to advisor roles there are also opportunities to contribute behind the scenes.

Volunteer advisors receive excellent training and support, but it does need a defined time commitment for initial training.
