The Lintel Trust awards small grants of £500 or £1000 for community-led projects that help people to maintain their tenancies and to improve their lives.

Such a projects cover a diverse range of themes, for example: Tackling social isolation in housing communities; Promoting digital participation; Enabling older people to remain independent and in their own home.

Most of the projects funded offer support to people who are excluded from community activities.

The funding is available to organisations with a close connection to a housing association, housing cooperative or other social housing provider such as a local authority.

The trust does not fund community interest companies (CIC), companies limited by guarantee (CLG) or social enterprises, only community groups and registered charities.

The deadline for applications is December 20.
