Large fall in Buckie fish landings prior to holiday weekend

FISH landings at Buckie harbour suffered a large drop in the build-up to the bank holiday weekend.

Four vessels landed 125 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams, compared with 756 boxes and no bags the week before.

The boast bringing their catches to the quayside were Our May, Pegasus, Crystal Stream and Chloe Ella.

No cargo vessels called at Buckie Harbour last week.
