Five vessels landed 115 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams.

This compares to 395 boxes and no bags the previous week.

The boats bringing their catches to the quayside were: Our May; Lily Oak VI; Boy Sam; Lee Rose II; Chloe Ella.

There was a busier week in store on the cargo vessel front.

January 28 saw the MV Rurik (Latvian) call, importing approximately 2600.000 tonnes of soya from Rotterdam before sailing light to Inverkeithing on January 30.

Arriving on the same day as the MV Rurik was the Bahamas-registered MV Swedica Hav. She imported around 1613 tonnes of malt from Mistley and then, on January 30, sailed light to Ghent.
