IT help on hand at Buckie Community Hub

HELPING people get to grips with their IT is the aim of new drop-in sessions at Buckie Community Hub tomorrow (Friday, January 20).

Situated at 17 East Church Street in the town, the Hub will be playing host to advice sessions by Martin Skinner from Moray Pathways every Friday morning, starting at 10am and running through to 1pm.

Advice will be available for using mobiles, tablets, laptops or PCs. People attending can bring their own devices or use those provided during the sessions.

Some of the many areas covered by the sessions will be: Device set-up; Keyboard and mouse skills; Connecting to wifi; Sending emails; Video calling friends and family; Internet shopping; Online banking.

The drop-ins are free and no appointment is necessary. There will also be the chance to enjoy a free cuppa and a biscuit.

The hub is open 10am-4pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday, 10am-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Tuesday and is closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
