Fish landings down at Buckie Harbour

IT was a quieter week of fish landings at Buckie Harbour last week, with catches down by over 50 per cent.

Some 235 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams were landed by nine vessels.

This compares to 474 boxes and no bags the previous week.

The vessels landing at Buckie were: Ocean Rose; Our May; Pegasus; Boy Sam; Brantia; Skua; Crystal Stream; Lily Oak VI; Chloe Ella.

No cargo vessels called at Buckie Harbour last week.
