The Public Institute in the village is set to provide the host venue for the fundraising event.

Doors open at 6.30pm with eyes-down at 7.30pm. Admission costs £3 per person which includes refreshments and sausage rolls.

Those attending are asked to bring their own cup.

The following weekend will see the return of the Recycled Christmas pop-up event. Also being held in the institute, the event will run over Saturday and Sunday. It will be a chance for people to get rid of some their pre-loved items and browse a selection of other pre-loved goods. All items must be in a good condition.

Goods can be handed in on Thursday, November 16 between 9am and 11am and again from 2pm to 4pm and the following day from 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm.

The event itself will be held over Saturday, November 18 from 10am-4pm and on Sunday 1pm-4pm. Refreshments and kids activities will be available.

Saturday, December 2 will see the village's Christmas lights switched on – more information on this nearer the time. For more updates, follow Fochabers Village Association's Facebook page.
