THERE'S a cuteness overload warning with our latest Pet of the Week, Oliver.

This cute fella would love to find his forever home.
This cute fella would love to find his forever home.

He is a handsome young ferret looking for a permanent home. At the moment he's being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Being a typical ferret, Oliver loves to play with his toys. When he gets excited he will throw his head back and hop around with his mouth open.

Despite being an active ferret, he also has another side to him. When he gets sleepy, he turns into a lazy boy who likes to stay all cosy in his bed.

Upon arrival at the centre, Oliver was quite nippy and required a little more handling to get used to human contact. Therefore, we would prefer if he went to an experienced home to continue building his confidence with being handled.

If you can give Oliver his new home, please apply via the Scottish SCPA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/7724-oliver
