Buckie Post office has had to close temporarily.

In a Facebook post, the management announced: "Unfortunately, due to staff having to self-isolate we have been left with no choice but to close for a minimum of 14 days.

"We sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause anyone but as you can hopefully understand, safety must always come first. If you require a Post Office service you can find these at: Findochty Post Office, 9am -5pm Monday to Friday (closed for lunch 1pm-2pm); Portknockie Post Office Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm, Sundays 8am-4pm (located inside the shop).

"We thank you all for your support and understanding. Stay home, stay safe, save lives."

Customers are asked note that not all Post Office services are available in these branches. A list of the nearest office for any specific service can be found at www.postoffice.co.uk

See the Buckie Post Office Facebook page for updates as to their reopening.
