THERE was a foot-tapping tribute to Robert Burns at a Buckie charity when they enjoyed not one but two concerts.

Local group Bunnetz 'n' Beardz came along to play for Coastal Creations, which supports vulnerable adults, at their groups on Monday, January 23 and Wednesday, January 25 at the their Buckpool Golf Club base.

Everyone enjoyed the relaxed mix of Scottish melodies as well as some other well known songs. In addition to enjoying a good singalong, folk were invited to join in with some dancing, musical accompaniment and some Makaton signing.

All at Coastal Creations agreed it was a fun and very friendly session and hope will be repeated.

It was a welcome return to Coastal Creations for Bunnetz 'n' Beardz, who had visited one of the group's day sessions before Christmas to get to know the service users, staff members and volunteers and to chat informally about the craft work they were doing and about the kind of music they might enjoy.

They then offered to play at each day session to celebrate the life of the Bard.

Bunnetz 'n' Beardz – comprising Ron Black, Tam Thomson, Chris Winstone and Phil Brown – have been performing at a number of local community groups and won friends with their friendly, positive approach.

Coastal Creations supports adults in the local community in a number of ways, including craft work, small gardening projects, music and Makaton signing.
