Wednesday, December 22 saw Cluny Square ringing with festive tunes as people of all ages dropped by to add their voices to the Christmas celebrations.

Behind the event were Buckie Kindness Group.

John Stuart, the group's chairman, said: "We wanted to bring a bit of cheeriness in the face of all the gloom going around at the moment."

Mr Stuart also gave Santa a hand reaching out to those families who will have to self-isolate this Christmas due to Covid. Suitably attired in a Santa suit, he made socially distanced visits to drop off presents to families who were self-isolating.
