THERE was a far busier week of fish landings at Buckie Harbour.

Last week saw eight vessels land 550 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and 36 bags of clams compared to 135 boxes and no bags the previous week.

The boats were: Our May; Boy Sam; Lily Oak VI; Birsay Boy; Pegasus; Chloe Ella; Eternal Light; Conquest.

A single cargo boat – the MV Victress (British) arrived from King's Lynn on February 22 and imported approximately 2200. She is due to export around 2270 tonnes of pebbles/cobblestones to Gunness, estimated time of sailing this Tuesday afternoon.
