Busier week of landings at Buckie Harbour

FISH landings at Buckie Harbour almost doubled last week, with over 500 boxes recorded.

In all, six vessels took 536 boxes of fish/prawn/squid ashore, up substantially from 266 the previous week. No bags of clams were landed.

Taking their catches to the quayside were: Lily Oak; Chloe Ella; Our May; Boy Sam; Lee Rose;

Flourish.

A single cargo vessel, the Antiguan-registered MV Fehn Calypso, called at Buckie last week, importing 2202.94 tonnes of soya from Rotterdam on December 17. She sailed light to the North Sea for orders the same day.
