M&Co on East Church Street are looking forward to holding a fashion show in May in aid of the DEC Red Cross appeal for those forced to flee their homes since the Russian invasion at the end of February.

Store manager Abbie Symon said: "We usually do two fashion shows a year for charity although because of Covid we've haven't been able to do any for a while.

"We can start doing them again now and it was decided group-wide across our stores that with everything going on in Ukraine we would support the DEC Red Cross appeal.

"Our models will all be local and the staff are joining in, too.

"The clothes will all be M&Co products and will cover all age groups."

As well as the action on the catwalk, there will be a raffle on the evening of the show.

Buckie craft shop Bee Crafty is also running a raffle in aid of the fashion show and they are set to have a stall at the event.

Refreshments will be available at the fashion show.

The show is due to take place on Wednesday, May 11, getting under way at 6pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available in store.
