In all 11 boats landed 228 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams.

This compares to 465 boxes and 47 bags the previous week.

The vessels taking their catches ashore at Buckie were: Deeside; Skua; Brantia; Emmaley; Lily Oak VI; Boy Sam; Our May; Lily; Orcades; Moray Lass; Camann II.

There was a busier week on the cargo front, with two boats calling at Buckie.

First in was the Barbados-registered MV Sea Ruby which arrived light on July 19 from Montrose and exported 2106.3 tonnes of pebbles/cobblestones to Groveport the following day.

MV Liva Greta (Liberia) imported one rotor and one stator, totalling 260 tonnes, from Goole on July 23 before sailing light the next day.

The week before saw no cargo vessels call at Buckie Harbour.
