Buckie Harbour fish landings round-up

ALMOST 500 boxes of fish were landed at Buckie Harbour last week.

In all, some 474 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams were brought ashore by eight vessels.

These were: Skua; Brantia; Endeavour; Our May; Chloe Ella; Lily Oak VI; Ocean Rose; Camann II.

A single cargo boat called at Buckie last week, the MV Fast Sam (Belgium). She imported 2880 tonnes of salt from Kilroot on June 25 before sailing light to the North Sea for orders three days later.
