Buckie Harbour fish landings round-up

JUST over 300 boxes of fish were landed at Buckie harbour last week.

In all 318 boxes of fish/prawn/squid were brought ashore by four vessels, slightly up on the previous week's total of 291. There was also a small increase in the number of bags of clams landed, up to 40 from 36.

Taking their catches to the quayside last week were Our May, Flourish, Lily Oak VI and Emerald Dawn.

On the cargo front, a single boat docked at Buckie last week, the British-registered MV Victress imported 2257.02 tonnes of salt from Kilroot on March 27 before sailing light to Berwick the following day.
