Buckie Harbour fish landings rise slightly

THERE was a slightly busier week of fish landings at Buckie Harbour last week.

The week before saw only 40 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams brought ashore whereas the last seven day period brought in 101 boxes and no bags.

Three vessels landed their catches at Buckie – Our May, Boy Sam and Chloe Ella.

A single cargo boat – the MV Alert (Dutch) – imported 1590.06 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on February 11 before sailing light to Antwerp three days later.
