Buckie Harbour fish landings on the up

AFTER fish landings at Buckie Harbour amounting to just 10 boxes the previous week, last week's figures looked much healthier.

Six vessels brought 266 boxes of fish/prawns/squid to the quayside, with no bags of clams being brought ashore.

The boats were: Boy Sam; Lee Rose II; Lily Oak VI; Chloe Ella; Flourish; Oor May.

One cargo vessel – the Latvian-registered M V Bonita arrived on December 6, importing 1154.52 tonnes of malt from Mistley. She sailed light to Tilbury two days later.
