William R Mair Funeral Directors in the town are urging the community and local businesses to get behind their Easter egg appeal in aid of Buckie social work team and the Burnie Centre.

The aim is to collect enough Easter eggs to ensure all the children who use these facilities have at least one egg to enjoy this coming Easter.

To donate a chocolate Easter egg, pop in to the funeral home at 4 Newlands Lane between 9am and 5pm to drop it off or alternatively call the office on (01542) 832542 to arrange a collection. Cash donations can also be made via the donation box at reception. These will ensure eggs can be bought for those children with complex dietary needs.

The latest date for donations is Monday, April 3.
