Craft Daft, which held its first monthly meeting at the Fishermen's Hall earlier in March, aims to provide a welcoming and safe, inclusive and creative space for children to come together and enjoy some arts and crafts experiences.

The club is seeking some local interested committee members to join the existing team of three and provide support and encouragement. There will be about three committee meetings per year plus an AGM.

Parents, grandparents, caregivers can join in the fun as helpers as well as meeting to have a chat and tea or coffee. Activities will vary from month to month depending on feedback and special projects/exhibitions with other groups will be encouraged.

A quiet space will also be developed to meet the needs of the children as necessary. A nominal subscription of £5 per child per meeting will be taken.

The date for the April session is still to be confirmed – follow the Craft Daft Facebook page for updates.

Those interested in joining the committee should contact Elizabeth Souter in the first instance at souterliz8@gmail.com
