The event will have live music, food stalls and fun activities for the kids, and kicks off at 1pm on Saturday, July 29 in the grounds of Parklands and Burnbank on High Street.

Entry is free with proceeds from the raffle sale going to the residents’ comfort fund and Buckie's Roots.

"We are excited to be celebrating three decades of caring in Buckie," said Denise Risk, manager of Parklands and Burnbank Care Homes.

"This year is a significant milestone for Parklands Care Homes, and we want to celebrate this special occasion with the people who have made it possible – our residents, their families, our employees, past and present, and the local community."

Parklands has nine care homes across Moray and the Highlands, with a number of new care facilities planned in the coming years as part of a multi-million pound investment plan. Parklands also manages two homes in Moray on behalf of Craigard Care Limited which is in administration.
