Buckie breakfast club for Armed Forces veterans set to launch

A SERIES of regular events aimed at bringing Armed Forces veterans in the Buckie area together is set to get under way soon.

Former Armed Forces personnel are being invited along to the new Buckie Veterans' Breakfast Club.

The first of the Buckie Veterans' Breakfast Club sessions is due to open its doors on Tuesday, July 4.

The event is the brainchild of the staff at William Mair Funeral Directors, based at Newlands Lane in the town.

Katrina Adams, business leader at William Mair, said: "The breakfasts will be an ideal opportunity for ex-Services personnel to meet other veterans, have a cuppa and chat and make new friends, too."

The breakfast club us scheduled to meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 10am to 12 noon at the Mill House Hotel, Bridge of Tynet.

Entry costs £4 which includes a bacon roll and unlimited tea or coffee.
