PETER Fair returned to Buckie for the first time since the summer of 2019, and local folk turned up in their droves to support the event.

However, it was not just the youngsters from the town and the surrounding area who made their way to that very special park at Rathven to enjoy all the fun of the fair.

Joining in the fun were some residents from Netherha care home, accompanied by staff members.

While some of the more adrenalin pumping rides were not on the agenda there was still plenty for the OAP fairgoers to enjoy and they certainly showed how it was done when it came to having a spot of fun.

The residents were spotted on the waltzers and the cup and saucer ride, too.

No visit to Peter Fair would be complete without a visit to the arcade to try and win some cash or a prize.

To round off a perfect day, there was time to buy a few bags of candy floss before heading back to Netherha.
