"Almost all of our acts have been confirmed and the three stages are full of brilliant acts.

"We are gearing up for the biggest and best Wizard so far and in these last few weeks it’s about making sure everything is in place for fans to have a brilliant time."

The main headliners this year will be The Stranglers who take to the main stage on Friday, August 26.

The event at New Deer Showground attracted 5,000 people last year and is the biggest festival in the North-east.

Other acts that have been confirmed to play are Cast, The Magic Numbers, The Twang, Jon Fratelli and The Saw Doctors.
