Teenager killed in A95 crash

A TEENAGER was killed when his car crashed on the A95 Banff-Keith road on Saturday night.

Michael Fraser, of Mintlaw, had celebrated his 18th birthday just days before the collision.

Emergency services were called to the accident, near the Nethermills junction just before 11pm, and Mr Fraser was declared dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the silver Vauxhall Corsa were uninjured. The vehicle was believed to have been travelling from Cornhill to Keith.
