A TEMPORARY speed restriction will be in place on a section of the A98 Banff to Portsoy road from Monday, February 20 for four weeks.

The restriction of 30mph, slowing to 10mph when the convoy system is in place, will apply from the C27L near Smiddyboyne to the B9025 near Boyne Mills.

Aberdeenshire Council is carrying out reconstruction and resurfacing works and the speed restriction is necessary to ensure the health and safety of both the workforce and the travelling public.
