THE B9139 Portsoy (Old Coast) road from Craigherbs to the junction of the C25L road at Loch of Auds will be closed from Monday, February 13 for three weeks for carriageway reconstruction.

Diversions will be via Ladysbridge, on to the A98 and leading back to the B9139 using the C61L via Scotsmill.

Pedestrian access will be maintained in both cases, as will vehicular access to affected properties where possible.

The C125B Auchreddie to New Byth road will be partly closed for two weeks from Monday, February 6.

The closure will take effect from the B9027 at New Byth to the junction with the U131B Backhill road to allow kerbing and work to the edges of the carriageway to take place.

Diversions will be via the Hill of Corsegigth and the B9027.

Aberdeenshire Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause while this work is being completed and advises motorists to check the website www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/roads/traffic/closures.asp for regular updates on all road closures in the area as the best source of live information.
