Body found in missing person case

Police Scotland has confirmed that around 11.15am today, Monday, 30 December, the body of a man was found by the cliffs near Macduff, Banff.

Formal identification has yet to take place however the next-of-kin of 35-year-old William Hay, who was reported missing from Banff on Saturday, December 7, have been informed.
