Banff Academy pupils' record performance

BANFF Academy pupils enjoyed a record-breaking year in terms of exam results.

Head teacher Alan Horberry hailed them the "best in the school's history".

He said: "Our hard working, dedicated pupils have achieved our best ever results in S4 and the number of students who achieved five or more Level 5 (National 5) qualifications is at 42 per cent, which is a 19 per cent improvement from 2012.

"Equally historic are the best ever higher results for Banff Academy."
