Ambulance raided by thieves

POLICE are investigating thefts from an ambulance parked near St Catherines Street, Banff and a break-in to garage premises on Jail Lane, Banff between 10pm last Thursday and 11am the following day.

Items of electrical equipment and a small quantity of prescribed pain relief drugs were stolen from the ambulance.

The public are being warned that if the pain relief drugs are misused then it could cause danger to health or be life threatening.

A charity box containing a sizeable amount of loose change was stolen from the garage premises on Jail Lane, Banff.

Any person with information regarding either of these incidents, or who saw any person acting suspiciously in the area’s concerned, is requested to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700, or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
