Turriff Primary School youngster Casey Train has raised £220 so far for the the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Mother Tracey Skinner explained how the fundraiser came about: "One day she came to me saying that she felt really fortunate and wanted to help other children by raising money.

"She had aimed for just £100 but passed that quite quickly.

"He walk and cycled around 30 to 50 laps at the Turriff Den to fundraise.

"Casey didn't imagine her fundraiser would go as well as it has."

On Wednesday, November 20 she is hosting a tombola at Deveronside Club to raise more money as part of the Banff Indoor Market that runs from 6pm until 9pm.
