While the event boasted all of the usual stalls, including refreshments, homebakes and locally grown produce, this year's sale of work also boasted a silent auction which proved to be very popular with visitors.

Amongst the items up for grabs in the auction were a ride on mower and a brand new 32 inch Smart TV.

There were also a number of new homeware items in the auction, including glass-topped tables and mugs from Maxwell and Williams.

Those who were already thinking about the big day were able to go head to head in bidding for a Christmas dinner turkey.

Another popular item in the auction was an original painting by artist Micheal Mann of Bennachie as viewed from Auchterless, which was originally commissioned by Mrs Moir of Badenscoth School in 1975.

All of the money raised at the sale of work event, which took place in Auchterless Primary School, will be used towards Church projects.
