Drivers using the B9001 through Rothienorman face a considerable diversion as upcoming works will see the road closed to the north of the village.

The B9001 between Harvey Way, Rothienorman and the C45S junction to Gordonstown will be subject to a closure from January 27 for 12 days, to allow drainage works to be carried out.

A signed diversion will be via B992 (Insch), A920 (Oldmeldrum), B9001 Rothienorman and vice versa.

Drivers are also reminded that there are road closures to the west of Rothienorman due to works being undertaken for the sub-station construction and to use the signed route.
