BIRTHDAY boy Kevin Main earned Formartine United a crack at Premiership side Motherwell with his superb Scottish Cup shoot-out display, see YouTube highlights below.
Main turned 39 on Tuesday night on the same evening that Formartine hosted League 2 Annan in the second round of the cup.
He was beaten by an Aidan Smith strike early on to give the Galabank side the lead.

However, full-back Stuart Smith's back post header quickly drew United level on 20 minutes, and neither side could find another goal over the remaining 100 minutes, including extra time.
It looked bleak for Formartine when their first kick in the shoot-out by Graeme Rodger was saved.
But Main did the same from Mark Doherty's first penalty for Annan, then Andrew Greig for United and Cammy Clark for Annan found the net.
Captain Stuart Anderson found the top corner for the home side and Main made his second save from Kyle Fleming to give Formartine the advantage.
Formartine's fourth kick by Scott Lisle was saved but Lewis Hunter then blazed over for Annan, leaving Conor Gethins to clinically fire home the winning spot kick.
Saturday, April 3 is the date for Formartine's big third round clash against Motherwell.
