Aberdeen Development have put Connor Power, Luke Turner and Tyler Mykyta out on loan to Turriff.

The three youngsters, all 18 years old will spend the 2020/21 season at The Haughs.

Tyler is a midfielder who is an AFC Youth Academy product whilst defenders Luke and Connor joined the club two seasons ago after moving over from the Republic of Ireland.

They are the latest Development players to be loaned out after Miko Virtanen and Michael Ruth last week joined Arbroath.

Commenting manager Derek McInnes outlined the need to get players out on loan: “We see the benefit of the younger lads doing their time and getting out there in the real world and playing football.

“Domestically the development games are going to be impacted and the fixtures might not just be there for the lads.

"There is an added incentive to get them to go and play football.

“We have some boys at the club who have been training for the best part of three months and not played a proper game of football other than bounce games at the training ground.

"It is something we are very aware of.

"We have to look after their development.”
