Manager, Barry Massie was first out the blocks at 5pm on Friday with team hourly slots throughout the night taken on through to Ewan Clark who ensured a strong finish on Saturday afternoon.

Turriff Thistle agreed prior to their run that any money raised should stay within the local community.

As Barry said: "We, as a club, have always been so grateful and appreciative of the support given to us which allows us to do what we do.

"We could not be happier to have had this fantastic opportunity to give something back.

"All donations raised will be equally shared between our chosen charities - Turriff Cottage Hospital, Turriff Food Bank and Friends of the Den".
