Testing times for Aberdeenshire's cricket sides

A BUSY weekend of cricket action in the north-east saw Grammar remain at the top of Grade 1 after a 66 run victory over Gordonians scoring 212 for 7 from their 40 overs.

Bon Accord managed a 46 run victory over Siyapa while Knightriders got the better of Cults by six wickets.

Grampian despite recent good performances were not strong enough for home side Inverurie who won by eight wickets while Crescent moved off the bottom of the league table with a 118 run victory over Master Blasters.

Grade 2 Mannofield remain undefeated after an 84 run victory over 2nd Grammar.

Methlick hosted visitors 2nd Knightriders and with the home side making just 102 all out.

A key Knight's Sajid Muhammad and Sanjay Arumugam Vijanidran pairing helped them to a subsequent win.

Grade 3's 2nd Grampian vs Stonehaven saw the home side make 213 as Stonehaven were bowled out for 144.

Banchory demolished local rivals Crathie scoring 264 for 5 from their overs which proved to much for Crathie to overtake.

Dunecht made 155 all out against 2nd Gordonian's 121 while Huntly who were at home to 2nd Methlick cleared 207 for 7 with Methlick bowled out for 93.
