Turriff United have secured the signing of young striker Aaron Reid.

Reid (18) arrived at The Haughs in January on loan from Scottish League One side Montrose.

He has now signed a permanent two-year deal to join United.

He scored six goals in 10 games during his time with Turriff last season.

A United spokesman said: "Manager Dean Donaldson worked hard to get a deal over the line after the impressive start made at the club by Aaron.

"All at Turriff are pleased that, despite much interest from several other Highland League clubs, Aaron felt his interests were best served by returning to The Haughs on a permanent basis."
