Show jumping, dressage and fun day are a big weekend success at Mundole Equestrian

FUN in the sun accompanied the show jumping and dressage events at Mundole Equestrian last weekend.

Sunshine showered the Saturday events as judges Rosemary Young (Nairn), Clare Dew, and Charlie Fitzgerald put riders and horses through their paces in a variety of fun day events.

The overall winners were Jack Johnson-Ireland from Inverness in the lead rein section, ably accompanied by his father Martin who was a regular competitor at Mundole several years ago.

The eight-and-under was won by sisters Lucy Annand and Sophie Annand, Newtonmore while the 12-15 section went to Elgin rider Bethanie Penman, with Forres' Katie Clarke runner-up Katie Clarke.

Emily Rattray from Knockando won the open section ahead of runner-up Jacqueline Saunders (Kiltarlity). Knockando.
