Carla Banks had mother Angela as lead, and with Frances Thomson in the middle, had an outstanding match. The first few ends were fairly even, but again the 5th to 10 ends say the trio score regularly to be 20-5 up. They finished 33-8.

Linda Harper’s players were getting the shots in, sometimes lying 4 or 5 shots, but Catherine McIntosh, a Scottish and British winner had other ideas, she drew regularly to the jack or her running bowls changed the head.

The score 5-17 does not reflect the match.

Now for the next round!
